He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Sue Fahey has been a competitive multi-sport athlete since 1977. A graduate of Shippensburg University, Sue was a standout on the varsity lacrosse team. Sue has competed in numerous races including the grueling Catoctin 50K Ultra Trail Marathon, Freedom Run’s Marathon, several half-marathons as well as sprint tri’s. Sue is certified through N.S.P.A, TRX Suspension Training, and is a certified Mad Dog Spinning Instructor. Sue is involved in youth sports and for the past 7 years has coached several lacrosse teams (at the same time!) As an accomplished trainer, Sue has helped a wide range of clients achieve their goals- from the older client with physical limitations to the competitive athlete, Sue is sure to help you find your inspiration to get fit!</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Chookie Karlen, a graduate in Psychology and Teaching from West Virginia University is a competitive athlete and sports enthusiast. Chookie holds certifications through N.S.P.A and TRX Suspension Training. She is currently a member of the USTA, playing women’s 4.0 tennis on teams in MD and PA. Her PA team won the regions and advanced to nationals in October 2009! Chookie competed in local races and ran her first marathon (the brutal Freedom Run’s Marathon) at the age of 41! Chookie’s passion for sports and background in teaching enables her to share her love of sports among her clients.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Shana Thompson is a certified personal trainer through the American Council On Exercise (ACE). Shana is also a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) teaching pro. She is a former Division 1 collegiate tennis player and has completed 4 marathons, including most recently the NYC marathon. Active in the community, Shana serves on the board of directors for the Maryland Theatre, is a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council for Meritus Health, and is a graduate of Leadership Washington County.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Anna Hissong grew up on a dairy farm near Mercersburg, PA. She was a competitive swimmer from age group through high school, making it to the Pennsylvania State Championships. She then spent two years in the United States Marine Corp serving as Infantry Training Battalion and Security Guard. Anna is certified with International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and has completed over 50 hours of Ruff Fitness Training. Anna is no stranger to our core values of hard work, consistent application of basic principles and motivation. She is looking forward to helping Ruff Fitness clients improve their health and fitness!</image:caption>
